Materials: photographic prints
A set of 'fold-out postcards' depicting before and after images of a recent period of gentrification in Newcastle, NSW. The works consisted of 15 views of Maitland Road and Hunter Street in Newcastle which were photographed between October 2012 and September 2013. Exhibited at Marrickville Garage in Bookish which was curated by Jane Polkinghorne.
*A phrase borrowed from Samuel Johnson (1709-1784).
