Materials: calico, wadding, lipstick

This work continued the idea of 'soft' architecture, with an overblown representation of floral wallpaper in calico and wadding. The decorative, quilted rose motifs were coloured using lipstick. The rose motifs decreased in size as they ascended the wall, giving a distorted sense of perspective which was intended to have an effect on the viewer's sense of their body's scale in relation to the work. Shown at Pendulum, an artist-run space in Sydney.
